Art Muse was a collaborative gallery exhibition at the Paul Watkins Art Gallery at Winona State University. The exhibition featured artwork from various students in a wide range of mediums. As the gallery's Graphic Design Intern, I was tasked with designing the advertising campaign for the exhibition including postcards, posters, large-scale banners, and a vinyl wall design. The challenge was to avoid drawing attention to one artist over another in the promotional pieces as this was a collaborative exhibition. My solution was to use creative typography that instead represented the various artistic mediums presented in the exhibition.
